A warm welcome to the ALDI Ashby 20
On behalf of the organising committee, may I offer you a hearty welcome to our 21st birthday; the 2009 ALDI Ashby 20 road race.
Building on the successes of the last 20 years, the 2009 ALDI Ashby 20 promises to be in keeping with our 21st birthday; bigger and better yet again as we constantly strive to improve what was voted by Runners World readers 26th BEST running race in the UK, SECOND BEST in the Midlands and THE premier pre-London Marathon training race, with B.A.R.R. gold rating.
This year we are again proud to continue supporting our charity partner RAINBOWS CHILDREN'S HOSPICE - LOUGHBOROUGH, who provides respite, palliative and terminal care for families that include a child with life limiting illnesses. Part of the monies raised by the race will go to them, and we would be delighted to accept further donations on their behalf at any time.
