A warm welcome to the ALDI Ashby 20

On behalf of the organising committee, may I offer you a hearty welcome to the 2010 ALDI Ashby 20 road race.

Building on the successes over 20 years, the 2010 ALDI Ashby 20 promises to be better yet again as we constantly strive to improve what has been voted as one of the best races in the UK, let alone the MIDLANDS area and THE premier pre-London Marathon training race, with BARR gold standard rating.

BY runners and FOR runners, as a competitor said - that is the ALDI Ashby 20.

This year we are again proud to continue supporting our charity partner RAINBOWS CHILDREN'S HOSPICE - LOUGHBOROUGH, who provides respite, palliative and terminal care for families that include a child with life limiting illnesses. Part of the monies raised by the race will go to them, and we would be delighted to accept further donations on their behalf at any time, and pay tribute to those who have donated over the past two years.

Once again on behalf of the ALDI Ashby 20 race committee, thanks for your support and we sincerely hope you achieve your race goals.

Entry fee kept the same as the last few years, and the famous ALDI Ashby 20 sweatshirt for all finishers, as well as our renowned goody bag!
